The villa has two equally sized freestanding en-suite bedrooms with private terraces and ocean views along with an open plan main house comprising a fully equipped kitchen, office, dining and living room. The villa sits on 2,310 square meters of land (over half an acre) which comprises the pool, pool deck, sundeck, outdoor BBQ with covered dining area, eastern terrace, landscaping and outdoor parking area for 4 cars. The main house and bedrooms are separated by a Japanese garden with koi pond.
Villa Seaweed was the first villa built on the island with a modernist aesthetic emphasizing symmetry, simplicity and open plan living which seamlessly integrates interiors and exteriors with expansive glass doors allowing natural light to flood the interior. Large, colorful outdoor walls playfully bring the modernist elements down to earth with a touch of Miami Modern in the laid-back Caribbean. Polished concrete floors, countertops and a 3 square meter (30 square foot) solid concrete dining room table underscore the commitment to modernist design. The minimalist floors extend outdoors to the pool where they are complimented by teak decking and extensive, manicured gardens.
The main house is equipped with two separate workstations enabling guests to remain fully productive while away from home. One workstation features a bespoke built-in desk, wired ethernet and a Herman Miller Aeron chair. The second features a hydraulic stand up desk, two 27" 4K displays and a Herman Miller Embody chair. The site is equiped with various Wifi 7 access points on a Gigabit local network connected to a reliable, 500 Mbps fiber internet connection.
